9 Physical Activity and Weight Control
To stay within a healthy weight range, it’s important to develop healthy eating habits and be physically active Metabolism: The process by which your body gets energy from food. Food’s energy value is measured in units of heat called calories. When you’re physically active, your metabolic rate rises and you burn more calories. Excess calories are stored in the body as fat.
