WP 1: Activities and Time Frames
Activity 1 – Researching labor market needs in the field of social work, social policy and social inclusion Feb. 1st – Oct. 1st (26 weeks) Activity 2 – Researching existent curricula for professionals working in the field of social work and social policy Feb. 1st – Apr. 15th (10 weeks) Activity 4 – Researching & outlining qualification standards Mar. 1st – Nov. 1st (24 weeks) Activity 6 – Researching mobility paths May 1st – Nov. 1st (16 weeks)

Exploration of Labour Market Needs
Activity 1: Researching labor market needs in the field of social work, social policy and social inclusion Steps: 1) producing questionnaires for CSWs, social welfare institutions and local community bodies; 2) surveying health, educational and police sectors; 3) analyzing statistical data on the number of unemployed. Objectives: establishing the number of currently employed (per gender, profession, source of financing, etc.) & the number of new posts (based on retiring, regulations, etc.) in social welfare; assessing the number of currently employed and future needs in related sectors; establishing the number and structure of unemployed educated in social inclusion.

Researching Curricula
Activity 2 – Researching existent curricula for professionals working in the field of social work and social policy Steps: 1) determining professions dealing with social inclusion; 2) analyzing curricula at the Universities of Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis; 3) interviewing lecturers. Objectives: establishing and naming the presence of topics related to social inclusion; establishing the shortages in current curricula and assessing the needs for additional topics; pooling opinion of lecturers.

Qualification standards
Activity 4 – Researching & outlining qualification standards Steps: 1) surveying the national standards (licensing in social welfare sector) 2) surveying work description for professionals; 3) analyzing EU qualification standards; 4) analyzing IFSW policies and global standards for education and training. Objectives: establishing the competences necessary for the work in social inclusion area; integrating the necessary areas of knowledge into exisiting curricula and developing new ones; putting special emphasis on field placements of students.

Researching mobility paths
Activity 6 – Researching mobility paths Steps: 1) surveying entrance criteria at the levels of undergraduate, master and PhD studies (NB: connectected with Activity 2) Objectives: establishing and improving the possibilites for mobility of students.

Website and Conferences
Activity 1 – Established Website and other visibility activities Steps: 1) developing Website; 2) organizing presentations of the activities. Objectives: improving visibility of the activities and the outcomes. Activity 2 – Start-up, Midterm & Final conference organized Steps: 1) scheduling the conferences; 2) orgnizing the conferences. Objectives: providing for visibility of events; holding consultatative meetings with external stakeholders.
