Who are they? Vision A future where Vietnam’s biodiversity is valued and its primates are secure in a safe and healthy habitat. Mission Provide rescue and rehabilitation to endangered and critically endangered primates that have been confiscated from illegal wildlife trade. Costs & funding $1,300 fee - what’s included?
3 x weeks accommodation in ERPC bungalow or National Park Room 3 x meals a day whilst at the sanctuary What other costs do I need to cover? Tuition fee, airfares, visa, vaccinations, laundry service, general spending money, souvenirs etc. Is there any funding available? OS-HELP - A government loan of up to $6, 567 (no interest loan) WIL Bursaries - A Deakin grant up to $2,500 Can I apply for funding now? If you’ve: Completed 8 credit points, paid $500 deposit & been enrolled in the unit YES! Will I get funding? OS-HELP – if you meet the eligibility you generally get it. OS-Help and SLE225 / SLE301(XOS)
OS-Help is available for students enrolled in SLE225 and/or SLE301(XOS) The same OS-Help criteria is applicable for both units (completed at least 8CP and need at least one unit to return home to etc..) You can only get 2 OS-Help loans and they must be at least 6 months apart You cannot apply for OS-Help until you are enrolled in either SLE225 or SLE301(XOS) which will be Sept for SLE301 and Nov for 1st year students Deakin University CRICOS Provider Code: 00113B

Enrolling into SLE225 or SLE301(XOS)
Cannot do this yourself We will enrol you once your have been accepted into your chosen international program and all approvals have been met through Deakin International and the unit chair Enrolment for SLE301 will not happen until the university opens enrolments for next year which will be in September

Flights / visas / vaccinations
We highly recommend that you try to travel as a group VISA organised through ERPC to be collected at airport on arrival Vaccination and health requirements for work with EPRC include proof of a negative status to the following: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B & TB Tetanus vaccination (up to date) Essential that you book an appointment with your travel doctor – these are guides only!
