3 About Ms. Kenny This is my 11th year at SCES, and my 19th year of teaching for LCPS. I have taught K, 4th, & 5th grade. I love going to my son’s sports events, being outdoors (especially the beach), and reading a good book. I live in Berryville with my 4 boys (Joey, Tommy, Robbie and Michael) and my dog, Jesse.

4 AN AMAZING, INCREDIBLE YEAR!
What to Expect in AN AMAZING, INCREDIBLE YEAR! Higher expectations as we prepare for middle school. Positive attitudes and a can-do spirit. Faster pace where students will often guide their own learning, take the initiative, and work together as a team. A year where your child will feel protected, loved, and heard, and when they leave, they will be PROUD of their achievements.

14 Homework Homework is the students’ opportunity to practice and gauge their understanding of a concept. Homework will be written in the agenda each day. Homework should be completed independently. Please check agenda each night. Incomplete or missing assignments will be noted daily by the ClassDojo. Questions about homework? Try your best! Parent can write a note to let me know. Homework will consist of: 20 minutes of independent reading nightly. Math (nightly) Science or Social Studies homework will occur weekly.
