What We’re Learning This Week
Reading: Groundhog’s Day and 100 Days of School
Spelling/Phonics: We will continue to review all letters.
Writing: The students will practice labeling and writing letters on command. The students will label vehicles used for transportation in our community.
Math: We will continue to practice number identification and counting 1 to 1 to 10 and rote counting The students will also practice writing numbers. The students will continue to practice composing and decomposing numbers to 10. We will celebrate 100 Days of School on Friday, February 3rd.
Science: Shadows
Social Studies: Groundhog’s Day
Dates to Remember
February 3rd: We will celebrate our 100th Day of School. All activities will focus on the number 100.
February 10th:: PTA Sponsored Valentine Dance
February 14th: Valentine’s Day Party. Don’t forget to complete your Valentine’s for your classmates..
THE PGE PTA will sponsor our first Valentine’s Dance. Please make plans to join us Friday, February 10th.
Our Valentine’s Day party will be Tuesday, February 14th. The AM party will begin at 10:00 and the PM party will begin at 1:30. THE PGE PTA will sponsor our first Valentine’s Dance. Please make plans to join us Friday, February 10th.
Please be sure to park in the designated parking areas when picking up or dropping off your child.
Friday, February 17th:
Both AM and PM classes attend school 8:10 – 12:10. T
Please remember it is important to attend school everyday and be on time.
AM pick-up time is 11:20. PM drop-off time is 12:00. Dismissal for PM class is 3:25.
