5. Grading Policy Tests & Quizzes = 85% of the Quarter Grade
Tests count twice (study guide: 4-6 days ahead of time)
Quizzes count once (no study guide: topics are announced)
Pop Quizzes (no announcement: informal assessment)
Homework & Overall Effort = 15% of the Quarter Grade
Homework may be randomly collected and graded
Overall completion of homework will be recorded each day
Class work may be checked for accuracy and quality
Students must be regularly on time, prepared, and on task
e-Schooldata updated a.s.a.p.

9. My Philosophy
I believe that all students have the ability to improve upon and further develop their math skills. Having the ability to think and persevere through unfamiliar problems will enhance my students’ stamina and focus. My students will explore a variety of ways (methods) to problem solve and learn to respectfully critique the solutions that are shared in class. Taking the time to check for reasonableness of answers will be regularly practiced throughout all units of study.
