4 Bell Times 8.30am: Open gate/doors open 8.45am: Learning begins 2.55pm: Open gate/home time 3:15pm: Students who are not collected are walked to the office Please encourage your child to unpack their own bag in the mornings (Self-responsibility).

Please phone the school or provide written communication about absences If students leave school early or arrive to school late, you must sign in and out of the office first

Common Language ‘Making things new again’ See the problem through the other person’s eyes. Children develop the understanding that when harm is done there are obligations and consequences. We focus on repairing the harm and making things right.

You can learn Maths through counting at home (walking up stairs, counting the teaspoons of coffee or sugar). - learnt through stories, music, craft, constructive play and open ended questions.

16 Reading at home Please try to include reading as part of your child’s bedtime routine. Encourage your child to read by looking at the pictures and find letters and sight words that we are working on in their homework.

17 Writing at home Encourage writing on birthday cards, shopping lists, signs for toys/bedroom. Writing their own stories.

20 Parent Helpers Volunteers: rotational activities, one-on-one reading, letter and sight word practice etc. Donations – old magazines, egg cartons, milk bottle tops etc. Cutting up and laminating resources for class. Our learning activities are a success from the help of our parents and caregivers. This allows us to have different activities for different levels of learning and provide much more support with small group learning.

21 NUTS Can we please ask, for the safety and wellbeing of all your children, that you be mindful and try not to pack products containing nuts.
