1. You have been lied to by the world system.
Believing that money brings happiness.
Believing that alcohol and food will make you happy.
Believing that you can do whatever you want with immunity.
Believing that you can live a life away from God and still go to heaven.
Believing that outward appearance and personality will get you what you want.
Believing that you must gain the approval of certain people in order to be happy.
Believing that you must measure up to certain manmade standards in order to be happy.

Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a "fool" so that he may become wise. 1 Corinthians 3:18 NLT
By hearing God’s Word but not doing it.
By saying you have no sin.
By thinking you are something you are not.
By thinking you are wise in this world system.
By thinking you are spiritual, but not bridling your tongue.
By thinking all is ok, when it isn’t ok.

Dear Heavenly Father: At this very moment, I confess that I have been lied to by the world system and I have lied to myself. I confess that I have tried to defend myself in ways not pleasing to You. I renounce the lies that the devil has told me about You, Father God. I joyfully accept You as my true Heavenly Father. I renounce the fears that have plagued my life. I trust You as the object of my faith. You are the only true God revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I joyfully accept the truth of Your Word, the Bible. I accept Your love and forgiveness. I say out loud that Jesus is Lord of my life. You are the truth and I trust You to set me free. Amen.
