PROPOSAL OF THE EVENT All work and no play make Jack a dull boy “Everyone is gifted but most people never open their package” so we plan for the EUPHORIA” to provide platform to students to explore their latent talents might it be Singing, Dancing, Acting, Playing an Instrument, or any other such activity. The Talent Show keeps our students buzzing all year - thinking up of new acts and practicing together Participating in a talent show gives all students recognition for non‐academic talents

EVENT DESCRIPTATION Venue, Date and Time
The “EUPHORIA 2K17” talent hunt show is planned to held on Dated - 17/10/2017 Venue- Universal Group of Institution Campus In OPEN AIR THEATRE Duration of Event – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Before event extra one hour overview for all the preparation) Registration will be starting from 29th Sep to 14 Oct 2017

The “RUNNING TROPHY” will be awarded to the College who will win Maximum awards in the various competition and that institute will have the privilege to the host the EUPHORIA for the next year Note:. The equipment in the event for the purpose of any presentation will be arranged by the participates.. Website will be created for online registration

Event Goals The Talent Show aims to achieve the following objectives:
To introduce and involve students with extracurricular activities that falls outside the realm of normal curriculum of academic education. Identify personal talents; practice performing for a group; practice giving and receiving encouraging the hidden talent. To build confidence, self-esteem and teamwork of the organizing members through exposure of practical event management. Increase vital knowledge of planning and strength in organizing in real world circumstances.

General Instructions Judges’ decision will be final. Every Participants must have to arrange the CD/ PROP/ Costume/ instrument or their own. Provide the CD at least 2 days before to the Event Co-ordinator Every Participant must bring ID card. Disqualified if exceed given time limit. Judges can stop the performance if they find it irrelevant/ obsene or objectionable.

Extempore RULES FOR EXTEMPORE
Each Participant shall be given two minutes to speak on a topic picked up by him/her by draw of lots. 2. A bell will ring at the end of one minute to indicate that one mute is left to finish his/her speech. 3. Another bell will ring at the end of Two minutes. 4. Marks will be deducted if the speaker exceeds the time limit. 5. Language used shall be strictly English. 6. No objection shall be entertained as the Decision of the Judges shall be final.

Theme: Social Issues No explicit or obscene content is allowed. Participants are encouraged to convey a social message. Judges can stop the play in between if they feel it irrelevant. There should be only one entry from each college stated above.

Experiment with the actor within you and let your expressions convey your feelings. Let the silence speak and somebody someday said, actions speak louder than words Rules & Regulation : Each team can have 3-4 members. Time limit is 2-3 minutes for each team. Negative points for exceeding the time. The act should not contain any dialogues, lip sync, props or music. No act shall contain any offensive, obscene, disrespectful actions or gestures. The act will be immediately stopped and the entry will be disqualified, if these instructions are not followed. Points will be given on the basis of innovation, depiction of the situation, team work and expressions.

MIMICRY / MONO-ACTING EVENT
rules • Each student artist shall be given of maximum of 5 minutes Participants/participant may mimic sound of machines and speeches of well-known persons including SAYERS (can use sayari while Mono-Acting) etc. Including film personalities. No outsider accompanist will be allowed. On the other hand for mono acting judgment is based on qualities like idea, creativity of presentation, use of makeup, music & general impression. Marking will be based on Skill imitating , Presentation Variety of sound and voices imitated Medium of expression will be in Hindi or English. It should necessarily be cultured and pleasant piece of art.

Engagement with the audience through physical presence, including appropriate body language, confidence, and eye contact—without appearing artificial. With rhymed poems, be careful not to recite in a sing-song manner. Make sure you know how to pronounce every word in your poem. POEM RECITATIONRULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Each contestant will recite one (1) poem only 2.Each contestant will be given a maximum of 6 minutes to recite the poem. 3.Contestants must be at the venue at least 15 minutes before the competition starts. 4.Contestants will be judged based on their Physical presence, Voice and articulation, Appropriateness of Dramatization, Level of Difficulty, Evidence of Understanding and Overall Performance. 5. Contestants are allowed to read from the text of the poem but bonus marks will be given to those that can memorize the poem. 6. Judge’s Decision will be final.

Rules for Solo Singing Competition
Solo Singing Competition in Two Categories and Categories are: Hindi/English Songs & Folk Songs . 2. Time Limit for Solo Singing is 3-4 minutes per Category. 3. One Participant should participate in one category. 4. Participant must bring instrument or instrumental music with self to perform. 5. After 4 minutes the participant will be declared disqualified.

Rules for group Song 1. The team should comprise of both boys and girls. 2. language of the Song (Hindi/English/Folk) 3. Maximum 08and minimum 05 students singers in a group . 4.Maximum time allowed for the group song is 10 minutes which does not include setting time. The setting time for a group shall not exceed 5 minutes. Judgement of these songs will be on based on the theme, harmony, and overall presentation. 7. The decision of the judge will be final.

Rules for Duet Song Participants will be given 2 – 4mins to perform.

Duet Dance Rules for Duet Dance Competition
1. Participants can perform dance on Western, Hindi, Punjabi folk and movie songs. 2. Participants must bring the CD or PD of song or Instruments with self in which they have to perform. 3. Time Limit for Solo Dance is 4-5 Minutes. 4. After 5 minutes the participant will be declared disqualified. 5. Every Participant must bring their College ID card with them, without ID card Participant is not allowed to Participate. 6. Judges’ decision is final. 7. Number of participants is two in one team( in team it may be boy-girl, girl-girl or boy-boy)

Group Dance Rules: No. of participants in group: min 4 and max 12 students · Time limit: 7+1 minutes · Theme: Folk Dance/Patriotic/Religious/Hindi Style: any style of dance (depend on participant) Participants are required to bring their own music CDs and props Confirm the song and provide the CD to the concerned faculty co-coordinator of event. There should be only one entry from each college. Judges can stop the dance in between if they feel it irrelevant.
