The country lacks technical and institutional capacities to provide GHG reliable emissions projections, in order to give adequate tools to national planning.
The development of local emission factors is necessary for main emission sectors such as forestry and energy.
M&A
There is a pending agenda on including climate change on national planning instruments.
Peru lacks institutional capacity for quantifying and reporting national public and private investments for the implementation of Peru’s NDC. A
There are no institutional arrangements in place to systematize information about implementation of the adaptation component of the NDC.
Current adaptation actions are reported partially because it is not categorized as climate change.
