Rendering Animal By-Products
Into Valuable Ingredients for the animal feed industry THE NEW INNOVATIVE RENDERING PROCESS THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS PROPRIETARY AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION TO CELITRON AND SHALL NOT BE USED, DISCLOSED OR REPRODUCED, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, FOR ANY PURPOSE, WITHOUT THE PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT OF CELITRON.
2
Agenda The problem Our solution Celitron – profile How does it work
Key advantages Summary Agenda
3
High contamination risk from stored waste at the slaughterhouses
High contamination risk from transported waste to rendering facilities Rendering plants are a major odour and environmental threat The Problem Low value generated from blood and feather Low value generated from ruminant waste High transportation costs
4
Local and immediate treatment of all waste generated at the slaughterhouse
Lower energy consumption as a result of the shorter cycle time and the usage of a pressure vessel Use patented medical sterilization and shredding technology to prevent any possible contamination risk Small footprint of the systems (smaller than storage needed for rendering transportation) The Solution Generating better quality meal and oil as a result of the immediate and short processing time of "fresh" material Higher value generated from difficult to treat waste (blood, feather, ruminants) No odour risk No transportation

ISS Liquidizing and sterilization of raw material ( °C, 30 min) Decanter Separation of particulate mater and liquids Separator Effective separation of oil and water. Celitron Profile water discharge Liquid More efficient systems from Celitron solids Bagging Bagging of cool & high quality dry meal Dryer Efficient drying with no odors emission. Oil Highly purified oil (>99%). Stabilized
11
How does it work ISS: System parts
Shredding and sterilizing the organic material in 1 closed vessel Sterilization only with steam under pressure In the ISS, the input material is completely liquidized. Patented technology developed and adapted from the medical field Short, less than 30 minutes, and more efficient than existing rendering process Significantly improve quality of meal and oil How does it work System parts
12
How does it work Decanter : System parts
Continuous sseparation of the liquidized raw materials into liquids and solids The liquids (oil & water) are conveyed to a separator. The solids are conveyed to a dryer. System parts
13
How does it work Dryer: System parts
The dryer receives wet solids from the decanter. The dryer can reduces the water content of the solids to less than 5% After the dryer the meal is cooled and then it is ready for bagging. System parts
14
How does it work Separator: System parts
Receives the liquid fraction from the decanter. Separates the water from the oil The water is discharged to the sewage with not additional treatment. The oil fraction is stabilized and stored. The oil purification level is high (>99%) How does it work System parts
15
How does it work Final product storage: System parts
The meal is conveyed directly to big bags or to any bagging line. The oil is stored in a container or can be directed to a storage tank. How does it work System parts

ISS AGRI Facility Advantages High quality products Flexibility
Only fresh ingredients enter the process Short production process - less than 1 hour High nutritional quality due to a new production process Complete sterilization of the product The products are protected from oxidation Flexibility The same line can process all types of animal by products The line can be installed to process as low as 10 ton/day of raw materials. The line can be installed in a very limited space. ISS AGRI Facility Advantages
17
ISS AGRI Facility Advantages No environmental impact
No emission of odors. No need for water treatment No production of organic, solid wastes. Low operating costs and fast return on investment Lower energy consumption as a result of an efficient cooking process and the no need of pressing phase. No need for storage and transportation of raw materials. Minimal manpower for control and operation of the line.
