History of Practice Pharmacists
These have existed for over ten years but this has been given a massive boost since 2015 with the NHSE pilot (aided by qualification as NMP's) This pilot has now been extended (?evidence) with the aim of there being a PBP for every 30,000pts

What can we do? Improve prescribing, management of LTCs, medicines reconciliation, complex polypharmacy, de-prescribing In order to improve health outcomes, reduce admissions, medication errors, drug expenditure, communication across sectors.
