12. Treasure hunt
Treasure hunt ( охота за сокровищами) – like a hotlist; but includes questions based on content from the sites. The basic strategy is to find sites that hold information that you feel is essential to the given topic. After you've gathered these links, you pose a question for each site. At the end of the Hunt, you add a culminating «Big Question».

16. Subject sampler
Subject sampler – students explore your collection of multimedia links, includes questions based on content from the sites AND how they feel to react it; more complex than a treasure hunt. Subject Samplers connect students emotionally to the chosen topic. Samplers are fun because you've chosen websites that offer something interesting to do, read or see. It's emotional because students are asked to respond to questions from a personal perspective.

18. Webquest
Webquest (Интернет-проект) – uses the sites you select as the starting point for a complex activity that involves multiple perspectives, possible group collaboration, and a final project of your choosing. A Webquest presents student groups with a challenging task or problem to solve. It's best to choose aspects of a topic that are under dispute or that at least offer a couple different perspectives.

Introduction
This webquest is devoted to Holidays and Traditions in Different Countries. In this course you’ll be able to learn about traditions and holidays in Russia, Great Britain and the USA.
Task
What special traditions and holidays does every country have? To answer this question you’ll need to work in small groups and complete the tasks and assignments designed by your instructor.

20. Process For the seminar on Holidays and Traditions in Different Countries students will be divided into several groups. Each group’ll get one aspect of the theme. Your task will include the following: 1 PRE-CLASS PREPARATION: study Web-based materials using the links suggested; answer the questions; divide the material between all team members for presentation in class for the members of other groups; prepare your presentations (reports)   2 IN-CLASS ACTIVITY report to the whole class what you have learned on the topic for your group activity.

21. Phase 1 – Background Information For this seminar I decided to break the topic into three parts. Each group’ll need to study only one part and inform the whole class about its major features and subjects. Phase 2 – Roles You’ll be working in teams. It’ll be up to you to divide roles in each team. For efficiency, there should be a team leader, who’ll organize the work and divide the issues within each topic to make sure everything is covered and there is no overlap. However, all team members are responsible for presenting information in class, regardless their role in pre-class preparation process.

All these types of educational resources can be implemented in an English course at school. It's up to the teacher how often these Internet materials can be used in teaching process. It depends on students' language level, information competence level and students' interests.
Pedagogy develops and our task is to catch it up, use new technologies, methods and means of teaching, one of which is multimedia. Multimedia is universal means, as it can be used to make the studying process effective, interesting and accessible.
