He’s watching tv this evening OR He is going to watch tv this evening. He has planned to do it. He decided to it. It is a planned action.

Future meaning When there is NO ARRANGEMENT TO BE GOING TO IS PREFERRED. EX. I’m going to watch tv tonight . ( guarderò la tv stanotte / Ho intenzione di guardare la tv)

4 This is an intention but she is not sure because
To be going to Alessandra is going to save money because she wants to go to Cornwall this summer. This is an intention but she is not sure because she hasn’t got the money yet.

6 Present continuous with Future meaning
When there is AN ARRANGEMENT the PRESENT CONTINUOUS IS PREFERRED. EX. I’m going to watch tv tonight with my friends tonight. ( guarderò la tv con i miei amici stanotte. Impegno preso, accordi presi )
