The Michigan Mathematics and Science Center Network (MMSCN), through a grant with code.org, is pleased to announce a professional learning opportunity to support AP Computer Science Principles.

Background AP Computer Science Principles Launched for the first time in Fall, Teachers can currently receive training for this course through these 5 approved providers: Code.org Project lead the Way Mobile CSP Beauty and Joy of Computing UTeach CS Principles The Mathematics and Science Centers Network is an approved Professional Learning Partner with code.org

What Will This Opportunity Provide?
Professional Learning (60 Teachers) 1 week summer (out-of-state– paid for by Code.org) 4 Days during the school year (in-state) On-line Support PL provided by the grant (minus stipends) Free Curriculum Resources AP Audit Materials AP Course with Algebra I Pre-requisite (10th Grade) (allows for an earlier AP option)
