The flash, used for storage acceleration is not coming from a standard low cost SSD but instead we are using the state-of-the-art FusionIO IoScale card. The FusionIO card is used to handle cache operations and in order to get the most out of this cache, CloudFrames vRun is offering de-duplication.
All this acceleration leads to a performance of more than IOPS out of one standard server. With the CloudFrames vRun software, the IO Blender effect belongs to the past.
To top the storage, CloudFrames vRun is using Cloning and Thin Provisioning. That makes that the CloudFrames vRun storage layer is not only high performance but is also economic and flexible.
