2. CRMC
On-call residents (and residents working an ER shift during the dinner hour) have food available from 5:30pm to 7am at the locations below. Breakfast & Lunch available all weekdays in the PRC. Limit $21/day.
Cafeteria: 5:30-8pm + 12am-3am weekdays, 7am- 8pm + 12am-3am on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Hot food bar closes at 7pm
Outtakes Café: Open daily until 2am, for on-call resident use from 5:30pm until closing + prior to 7am
The PRC will have microwaveable meals, sandwiches, snacks, and drinks in the evening and on weekends. Serve breakfast and lunch M-F.
Vending machines are always available

4. ACGME Duty Hours for Interns
Can google “ACGME, duty hours, FAQ” for a great PDF
Max 80 hours/week averaged over 4 weeks
Max 24+4 hour shifts (was 16…)
Minimum 8 hours in-between shifts
4 days off/4 wks, can’t be bunched in more than 2 day blocks

7. Resident Council All UCSF departments welcome
Can sign up through housestaff portal or Virginia
Monthly meetings with lunch provided
$500/$750 scholarships to attend conferences, etc.
