Caesar Flickerman : represents the power of Panem (capitol).
Julius Caesar : represents the power of Ancient Rome.

10. Rue Also a plant based name.
Rue is known for Herb of Grace, used for medical
properties (she helps katniss).
Rue is german for raute or latin for ruta
meaning the “preserver”. But Rue is also known for as “regret” or “pity”.

11. Claudius Templesmith
Claudius Templesmith, the game announcer, shares the name with Roman emperor Claudius.
Latin for claudus = lame.

12. Effie Trinket
Effie is short for the greek name Euphemia (well spoken), which matches her character. But it also means “well dressed” which we can also agree to from how Effie Trinket dresses in the movie the hunger games.
