Vitreous humor ethyl glucuronide (VH-EtG) levels in cases with (4.23±4.85mg/l) or without (0.18±0.28mg/l) a documented history of excessive alcohol use, and in blood alcohol concentration (BAC) positive (4.45±2.56mg/l) and BAC negative (2.55±6.59mg/l) cases, as determined by an EtG immunoassay. The differences in VH-EtG concentrations between the two groups were statistically significant (p<0.001).
