47 2016 Census - update About 96% of households returned a Census form, which is good considering the issues. Preliminary analysis shows data quality to be similar to previously. An initial release on April 11th gave very little information about the “typical Australian”. The real data releases are: Bulk of the datasets for all areas – June 27th – includes age, households, incomes, education, dwelling information, cultural diversity Remaining datasets for all areas – October 17th – includes employment, occupation, qualifications and internal migration

LGA level data on profile.id for 12 key topics within 2 weeks of release date (11th July) Small area data rolled out for 12 key topics over the following 4 weeks, in this order: Age structure (3 topics) Household Type Summary Dwelling Structure/Type Population summary/estimates (including UR/Enum/ERP, indigenous, citizenship) Household Type detail with and without children (older/younger etc) Household Income Household Income Quartiles Tenure Type Birthplace Language Religion Ancestry

49 2016 Census Update schedule
Remaining 1st release topics (Unpaid Work, Individual Income, Educational Institution Attending, Vehicle ownership, Internet Use, Disability) will be rolled out progressively from 11th July to the end of August. All 1st release data will be complete in profile.id by end August. atlas.id topics updated simultaneously with profile.id. 2nd release data released October 17th – in profile.id by November 8th. economy.id – NIEIR dataset for 2015/16 already released. Census data for 2016 with comparisons all updated by 20th December 2017.

.id is available to provide ongoing training and support in using .id’s tools. Up to twice annually on-site. We also do specialist training for workgroups to get the most out of .id.
