MARCH 2016 NEWSLETTER Opening Hours 08: :00 Monday to Friday CLOSED Saturday and Sunday Doctor Kokiet Retirement After almost 30 years, Dr Kokiet has decided to retire from the Practice on 31st March. As many of you will know and appreciate, Dr Kokiet has spent his career at the Practice serving patients with dedication, enthusiasm and care. We wish Dr Kokiet well in his retirement; he will be truly missed by patients, staff and all other professionals he has worked alongside throughout his career PATIENT DETAILS Do we have your correct details? Please check with the Receptionist if we have your correct contact details in case we need to contact you. SMS Text Messages We have now set up a new messaging service which allows our system to remind you of any upcoming appointments, please ensure we have your current mobile number for this service to be successful. TEST RESULTS Please contact the Surgery AFTER 2pm if you are requesting any type of test result as we are unable to give out results prior to this time

2 PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP
Patient Access Patient Access (Online Appointments/Prescriptions) patients will be able to view a summary of their medical record which includes:- medications, allergies and adverse reactions.  Contact the surgery and speak to a receptionist who will be able sign you up and give the information you need. STOP SMOKING 9th March is the National No Smoking Day If you like help stopping smoking, please book an appointment with our Health Care Assistant PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP We have recently set up a Patient Participation Group (PPG) – this is a Group of patients that meet at the Practice each month in order to assist in improving our services. The Group is keen to hear from other patients who may have any suggestions that may be useful to the Practice. There is a suggestion box on the reception desk with note paper to enable you to put forward any comments/suggestions you may have . If you would like further information with regards the PPG, please contact Christine or Tracey at the Practice .
