Held Q&A Sessions on 15 and 22 March. All but 2 schools attended one of the sessions. SECCDC Qualifier is in and we have a new school: Claflin David Ferreira from Horry Georgetown Tech College plans on visiting and may enter qualifier next year Will need name of students for Pro Day imbed Still looking for song choices from several schools Need resumes sent to AFCEA: Greg Blackburn: , or

Pro Day Status Will again imbed 1 student from each College and 1 from TTC for each team Army Cyber Team from Ft. Gordon: has backed out, NC National Guard Invited. 2017 Palmetto Digital Forensics Competition (PDFC)
Objective: Solve as many forensic scenarios as possible within the allotted time and accumulate the most points possible Participants will be provided access to forensic scenario exercises ranging in difficulty. Each exercise will require the participant to utilize different forensic techniques to uncover a designated “flag”. Flags will be unique to each scenario which can range from date/time stamps, hashes, passwords, etc. Sponsorship by BAH and Sentar Holding meetings every couple weeks at SRC, tomorrow is next Pre-Registration required to guarantee slot (2 per School) 2017 high school and collegiate/pro divisions: 1st 2nd & 3rd place prizes 1st place: Trophy and tablet, 2nd place Swiss Army Backpack, 3rd ODROID Reserved slots for students from schools that finished in top 6-10 in CyberPatriot: Pinewood, Summerville, DW Daniels, Nation Ford, Lexington Composite Squadron: Registration info posted on PCDC website & Facebook PDFC T-shirts will list SENTAR and BAH as sponsors

Cyber-In-The Middle PCDC’s Inaugural Middle School Program – Dave Coldren (Lead) Flyer developed and District Reps notified Have till 23 March to commit and 29 March for forms Trying to influence 7th & 8th graders before they decide on high school track Ordering detachable lanyards for the participants BAE has shown interest in supporting Students must be accounted for at all times, have their own badges-need volunteers Karen Cooke (SPAWAR) and James Weaver (ECPI) also helping Curriculum will have minute modules: PCDC Events (broken into 3 groups) Blue/Red/Gold Teams Forensics Mini-Expo: CyberPatriot/Node SC Computer Deconstruction (and Reconstruction) Into to Cyber (modified from Cyber Camp) Morning , Afternoon 1-4 All must have consent forms signed by parent Participants from Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley & Colleton County Schools
