General Cooking Time Allow 30 minutes to cook chunks: Carrots Onions

Stone Soup Recipe Ingredients: 12 – 16 cups of cut up vegetables
16 cups of chicken or beef broth (water is fine) Several smooth, clean stones (Much bigger than the vegetables) Salt and white pepper to taste Instruction: 1) In a large soup pot, pour in the chicken or beef broth. 2) Bring to a boil. 3) Add in cut up vegetables in sequence according to cooking time. 4) Keep broth boiling and cook uncovered. 5) Season soup with salt and white pepper. 6) Ladle into bowls. (Be careful not to spoon out the stones) 7) Sprinkle Parmesan cheese for garnish. (optional) 8) Sprinkle croutons for garnish. (optional) Adult supervision is a must. Stones is always optional, though the fable has the stones in the soup.
