2 How can we look after ourselves. Take ideas from the children
How can we look after ourselves? Take ideas from the children. It is just as important to look after our mental health as it is to look after our physical health.

3 Emotional Health We need to look after our emotional health like we look after our physical health. What can we do to look after our emotional health?

4 Why am I upset? Someone has been mean to me
I have fallen out with my friend I have lost a pet Someone in my family is ill Someone in my family has died I am worried about something

6 Who can you talk to if you are upset?
A friend Someone in my family Someone who looks after me Someone in school A trusted adult

7 Like the 5 fruit and vegetables that you eat a day…
There are 5 things that you can do to look after your emotional health

9 Connect Talk to someone instead of sending a text
Send a member of your family a letter or a card Speak to someone new Ask a friend how their weekend went and really listen

10 Be Active

11 Be Active Walk to school Go for a bike ride/go swimming
Play football at the park Join one of our various after school clubs!

12 Keep Learning

13 Keep Learning Learn something new about your friends
Read or listen to the news Learn to cook/how to repair your bike Do a crossword or a Suduko Research something you’ve always wanted to learn about

Give up your time to help somebody

Take notice of how your friends are feeling Take a different route to school and look at the new things that you see Visit a new place
