3. INTRODUCTION
Most of the people at some point in his or her life will experience times of anxiety and sadness. All these are normal reactions for pain, getting rejected, or disappointment. Those who have mental illness have more pain in their life than any other people, reactions that can make them hopeless and lost. And when it’s all gone, they start to feel that suicide is the only way to get away from all the pain.

4. NUMBERS OF SUICIDES IN THE WORLD
Increase of numbers for suicide ‘till 60% since 1955
800 thousand cases per year.
One person per 40 seconds.

5. NUMBER OF SUICIDES IN THE KINGDOM
Numbers of suicides in 2007 reached 596 cases.
Eastern region in the first place up to 294 cases.
Riyadh region in the second place, 152 cases.
Qassim Region in the third place, 50 cases.

6. REASONS WHY PEOPLE COMMIT SUICIDE
Depression.
Making mistakes.
Bullying.
Losing someone close.
Socially Isolated.
Not knowing the point of life.
Relationship breakdown.

Take it seriously
Be willing to give and help
Listen
Don’t leave the suicidal alone.
Ask for a professional help.

Suicide is a big issue that the world is dealing with. We all should help each other in all situations because once you lose that person you’ll never get him back. Make sure you help and give as much as you can so we won’t lose an important soul in this world.
