Robert Burns was born and became Scotland’s National Poet.
Interesting Facts 22 January 1901 Queen Victoria died and until very recently was GBs longest reigning monarch. She was succeeded by her son Edward VII. 24 January 1965 Winston Churchill died. He was a Politician and war time Prime Minister who led GB to victory in World War Two. 25 January 1759 Robert Burns was born and became Scotland’s National Poet.
