There are ten things to remember when you see a zero exponent
Anything to the zero power is equal to one.
ANYTHING TO THE ZERO POWER IS EQUAL TO ONE!!!!

5. Negative Exponents
Whenever you see a negative exponent, don’t freak out.
All you have to do is make the base number a fraction with a one over it, and then make the exponent positive.
For example:

6. Multiplying Numbers with Exponents
When multiplying numbers with exponents, you can just add the exponents if the base numbers/variables are the same.
23 * 24
34 * 312
45 * 54

7. Dividing Numbers with Exponents
If we add exponents when we multiply, what do you think we do when we divide?
We subtract. But only if the base numbers are the same.
