Conflicts of Interest Municipal Conflicts of Interest
CGA is a long-standing municipal service provider and is intimately familiar with the process in which to identify and avoid any potential conflicts of interest, including, but not limited to: Adhering to the Florida State Sunshine Laws Adhering to the Florida State Public Record Retention Laws CGA will not endeavor into any private provider scenarios within Cape Coral, this practice is to help ensure the reduction of any potential conflicts of interest that may occur
9
Support and Interpretation of Issues
Who To Turn To: In the beginning of the contractual relationship, CGA will tend to err on the side of caution with any issues and will turn to the City for clarification/confirmation on any potential issues. As CGA learns the City’s means and methods, and the City begins to gain trust in CGA, the amount of issues brought directly to the City will be replaced with ones where the City is CC’d on correspondence and finally issues brought to the City will diminish. At all times, both the CGA Supervisor and the City Building Official will be fully communicated with to ensure they are both up to speed on project progress and issues.
