What is the job of the Eco Committee?
To keep the school tidy. To report back ideas and suggestions from our classes to the committee. To make the school a nicer place for everyone and for the future. Recycling and Up-cycling To try to get Clermiston Primary School a Green Flag!

Our Short Term Targets Tidy up the wildlife garden.
Tackle the one sided paper issue and check that all classrooms have scrap paper box. Improve school recycling. Keep our playground tidy and litter free.

How can you help? Please start picking up your litter – You could win yourself a sticker from an Eco Committee representative which will earn you a house point from your teacher! Start to use the blue bin in the dining hall to recycle plastic bottles. Start to use the green bin in the dining hall to recycle milk cartons drunk at lunch time.

What Next? Start using the new bins in the lunch hall from Monday.
Start collecting stickers and house points for tidying up litter in the playground. Look at the Eco board for future updates from the committee!
