GoArmyEd Registration Process
SUMMER 2012 GoArmyEd Registration Process Have you established a GoArmyEd Account through your Army Education Center or Unit Education representative? YES NO You can establish your GoArmyEd account by visiting or visiting your Education Counselor. 2. Is CSU your home school in your GoArmyEd Account? YES NO Meet with an Army Education Counselor if: Your home school or degree plan is incorrect You are denied admission to your designated home school You already have completed your degree plan requirements You wish to change your home school or degree plan 3. Are you planning to take more that 12 semester hours this semester? YES You must see an education center counselor to get Permission to take more that 12 semester hours. NO

4. Check your personal information record in your GoArmyEd record.
Do you have any of the following holds on your account? SOU – Statement of Understanding needs to be updated? YES NO Print out a Statement of Understanding form, have it signed By your Commander (SFC and above may sign for themselves) and turn it in to the Education Center. FYI: an SOU must be signed and Uploaded to your Education record in GoArmyEd each year from the date it was originally signed. YES NO Contact your Army Education Counselor. Only they Can assist with these holds. CIV Edu. Holds? YES NO the CSU GoArmyEd Coordinator at letting them know that GoArmyEd Is requesting a student agreement from you. The Coordinator will upload your degree plan for you. It may take up to 24 hours to update in the system. Student Agreement Hold

4. Have you registered for classes in the CSU system through your
CougarNet Account, and do you have a copy of your schedule in front of you? NO YES Sign up for your classes in the CSU System through CougarNet, then print a copy of your schedule. 5. Using the CRN numbers from your printed class schedule, follow the instructions on the next page to search for your classes in the GoArmyEd system to request Tuition Assistance.

Class Search 1 of 4 Subject Subject Number
The Subject Number is the GoArmyEd catalog number. The CSU CRN is the GoArmyEd Section number minus the first number.

Class Search 2of 4 **Do not fill in any other search fields.
The Catalog Number Is your CSU Subject Number **Do not fill in any other search fields. Clear out the start and end dates. This is all you need. Then click next. *** See Slide 4 if you are taking a subject with a zero as the first number.

Class Search 3 of 4 Look for the Section Number.
The section number is your CSU CRN number from your class schedule minus the first digit. Then request the class.

Class Search 4 of 4 If you are taking any MATH, READ, ENGL, etc… course with any zeros as the first number in the Subject Number, i.e. 0098, 0097, or 0195, enter the Subject only and then click search. Find your Subject and Subject number and then reference Slide 3 to find your class.

6. Now that you have registered in both Cougarnet and GoArmyEd. E-mail
the CSU GoArmyEd coordinator to let us know that you are registered for classes in both systems. Include your 909#. We will contact the Bursar’s office to inform them that you intend to pay for classes with TA funds. If you do not the GoArmyEd Coordinator, the Bursar’s office has no way of knowing that you are going to pay for your classes using tuition assistance funds and you run the risk of being dropped from your classes after the payment deadline date. Once the GoArmyEd Coordinator receives your , she will contact the Bursar’s office for you. If you have further questions, contact the CSU Fort Benning office at the number below.
