General Findings TVET institutes with high number of cooperation partners. Depending on the number of students the institutes have 70 to 110 companies whom they work with. The contact to the companies are usually through the teaching faculties / sub-colleges and maintained by the individual teachers there. At those faculties the institutes established discipline- committees where representatives from companies participate.

Challenges Cooperation with industry is not deep or profound enough Industry contact mostly lost after cooperation; the contact is actually by people not by organizations Evaluation and encouragement system for school-industry cooperation is not well established Government, industry and school considers its own interest; there is a lack of common interest that can bring all parties closely together.
