Introduction In part of life there is always conflict and dispute. No individual which does not experience conflict at sometime, even society, community, organizations facing some conflict. When people or groups are in competition to meet their goals, there is always conflict. Conflict can become both in a group. All this it depend on how conflict is to direct and to find a solution.

Nature of conflict Conflict is an open debate between two people or groups of people who have different motives,ambitions,desires,values and goals.In conflict it involves people mind set,objectives,feelings and outcome of the conflict with feelings must be a solution. An understanding between the groups must be found in order to solve the conflict and to worked out.

Effects of conflict There are two effects of conflict. 1)Positive conflict 2)Negative conflict. Positive conflict In conflict, there are positive conflict. They are-:

Negative effect of conflict
With positive, there are also negative conflict. They are-: 1)It cause of from primary purposes having less time and resources. 2)It use of heavy contentions tactics in which individuals or groups not involved in conflict to solve it. 3)It also causes both short and long term effects on health of individuals or groups involved in conflict.

4)It causes stress in which it effect the effective work, information flow and task doing by the group. 5)It creates resentment in which individual having hatred, bitterness towards one another. 6)It also reduced the importance of one individual to another in a group. 7)It also cause professional effectiveness in a group.

Conflict as a process Most leaders is not unknown to most leaders. Conflict do not simply erupt or exploded; rather they develop; rather they develop through various stages, and in each of these certain factors contribute to the possibility of conflict.

What is Conflict resolution? Conflict resolution involves identifying areas agreement and areas of arbitration so that a solution to the disagreement or conflict occurs Conflict resolution is a way for two or more parties to find a peaceful solution to a disagreement among them. The disagreement may be personal. When dispute arises, the course of action is negotiation to resolve the disagreement.

In the past, leaders have depended on a well officials in authority. The person in the leadership role could make a swift decisions and act in an autocratic manner. This was used to find a solution in a situation but were these solution lasting and effective in a long term. The definition of conflict resolution posed above assumes a method of problem solving that is more democratic in its approach and allows those effected to be involved.

Techniques for conflict resolution
In order to reach agreement in a conflict resolution, it is also useful to take note of five causes of conflict that describe by writers. Conflict arises when there is a clash of interest,understanding,value,style and opinion. Writers identify three styles of reaction to a conflict as:-i)aggressive(‘fight it’) ii)assertive(‘negotiate it’) iii)Passive(‘avoid it’)

They personify certain techniques which was useful in decreasing the tension between individual or groups, but they do put great forcefulness on the leader and also his skill to confer a satisfactory resolution to a conflict.

Potential conflict In potential conflict you might want to consider the following-: 1) Nurture a positive atmosphere. 2) Clarify perceptions of yourself and your position. 3) Clarify perceptions of the other parties. 4) Clarify perceptions of the causes of the conflict. 5) Clarify the underlying factors of the cause. 6) Be in charge of your responses. 7) Encourage parties to express feelings. 8) Focus on shared needs and goals. 9) Generate options. 10) Develop and implement ‘do able’ parts.

Negotiation Negotiation is one the way of positive conflict management. It is a method in which people used to settle their differences. It is also a process by which settlement of differences or agreement is reached while avoiding argument and dispute. Each party has to consent in a negotiation has to consent to the outcome if it is to be a tool and each has an interest in other agreed to it. Thus by negotiation an individual or a group make a good decision.

People-In a problem, people should be seperated.It is important because people with their own likes,dislikes,beliefs,emotions influence the way they see the problem and find a solution. It is a command that negotiating a party together to solve the problem and change people living in agreement

Interests-In interests it has to be focus and not on the position. Why is a basic question to find out our own and interests of other party. The most powerful is the universal basic human needs, sense of belonging and control over own life. What is being said is more important.

Options-Before reaching a decision, it needed to generate a wide variety of possibilities. A special time is needed to set aside for the parties to have a wide solution to the problems. Some obstacles to invent option are:- 1)Premature judgment 2)Search for single answer 3)Assuming solving problems is one own problem

This will ensure a fair solution These four points are important and relevant throughout negotiation process This,however,is one proposed way of dealing with conflict. You would do well to research them and find the one that works for you best in difference situation.

Summary Conflict and dispute are part of life.
Conflict arises when people or groups are engaged in competition. Nature of conflict-Conflict is an open disagreement or groups of people. Conclusion To conclude, we can say that conflict management skill plays significant role in our daily life. Conflict occurs in different institution, society, community, organizations of interpersonal relationship. Thus various skill and techniques is needed to overcome conflict. Conflict resolution are valuable and instructive, it is useful in reducing tension between persons or groups.Hence,it depends on how conflict is managed and resolved.
