The premiere season of National Geographic's first scripted anthology series, Genius, will focus on Nobel Prize-winning physicist Albert Einstein. Genius follows the brilliant scientist through the ups and downs of his life, from failing to get his doctorate to developing the general theory of relativity. The all-star cast includes Academy Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush (“The Secret Life of Peter Sellers”) as the elder Einstein, British newcomer Johnny Flynn (“Lovesick”) as Einstein in his youth, and Emily Watson (“Theory of Everything”) as the enigmatic genius’s second wife—and first cousin—Elsa Einstein.
