2. Who NAGGL Is
NAGGL is a national non-profit trade association established in 1984 by a small group of SBA lenders
Current membership = 730+ companies, including:
Lenders – including banks, credit unions, other lenders, Certified Development Companies, etc.
Service providers – software companies, service companies such as attorneys, accountants, loan packagers, appraisers, consultants, business valuators, loan servicing organizations, insurance providers, construction management companies, etc.
Others active in industry and interested in small business finance issues

3. What NAGGL Does
SBA’s public policy goal = to keep the small business segment of the economy strong by providing access to credit that is not available on reasonable terms in the commercial marketplace
NAGGL’s goals =
To support the interests of private-sector lenders and service providers that deliver this vital credit via the SBA 7(a) program
To help shape the SBA 7(a) program to assure that it continues to meet the needs of small businesses and lenders
To assure the legislative and financial support necessary to keep the SBA 7(a) program strong
