Arabic is the official language but the Moroccan dialect of it is Derija.
Religion- about 99% of population is Muslim.

In the last month of the Islamic calendar Moroccan people celebrate Eid Al Adha
South of Marrakesh is where traders from distant region come and sell works of art, rugs, blankets, etc.
Traditionally, lunch is the biggest meal of the day and it occurs between noon to 3 pm with a nap following.
Visitors and locals enjoy bargaining with the merchants over small or large things.
