Population million people Area- 172,414 (sq miles) The capital of Morocco is Rabat. Arabic is the official language but the Moroccan dialect of it is Derija. Religion- about 99% of population is Muslim.

3 Traditions Green tea with mint is a Moroccan tradition of hospitality
In the last month of the Islamic calendar Moroccan people celebrate Eid Al Adha South of Marrakesh is where traders from distant region come and sell works of art, rugs, blankets, etc. Traditionally, lunch is the biggest meal of the day and it occurs between noon to 3 pm with a nap following. Visitors and locals enjoy bargaining with the merchants over small or large things.
