3. The 5 Oceans
Pacific: The largest and deepest ocean. It contains the Mariana trench which is over 36,000 ft deep.
Atlantic:The ocean closest to us. It’s the 2nd largest.
Indian: Located beneath southern Asia.
Southern: Most recently recognized.
Arctic: Smallest. Frozen in the North.

Often partly enclosed by land.
The largest seas are the Caribbean, the South China, and the Mediterranean.
