1. Has God been generous to you?
I have been given every blessing.
Why have you been blessed?
Because I am in Christ.
How does God see you?
I am blameless in His sight.
Have you been brought into His family?
I am His very special chosen child.

2. Are you a slave to sin?
No! I am redeemed.
How did God take away the penalty?
It was paid fully by Jesus.
Have you been completely forgiven?
God forgives totally. There is no guilt left for me.
How far does God’s grace reach?
Further than the East from the West, further than heaven to hell. It is endless.

3. What has God called you?
He says I am a saint.
What did I do to deserve it?
Nothing, it is all through Jesus!
Is God with us?
Yes, and no-one can stand against us
How will you respond to God?
I will trust Him, follow Him and serve Him no matter what the cost.

5. What is humility?
Biblical humility is grounded in the character of God.
A remembrance of weaknesses and sins, and seeing things from this perspective.
Not grasping or claiming power, promoting others above yourself (Phil 2)

6. What is false humility? Always putting yourself down is not humility.
A failure to see what God sees, leads to insignificance, disappointment and anger.
The picture is of Christ (Phil 2v5).
The concern is that we don’t do what God designed us for.

7. How do you live humbly? Admit weaknesses.
Recognise God’s control, don’t seek it for yourself.
See people from God’s perspective. Imagine God’s glory in people.
Don’t judge, complain or manipulate. Promote and build and encourage.
