5. Transcript Requests and Letters of Recommendation
Official transcripts are sent electronically from the FMHS registrar’s office unless using SendEdu or Common App.
If the college gives you the option of electronic or paper application submission PLEASE choose electronic.
Students are allowed 5 free transcripts and 1 FINAL transcript at no charge. Any requests beyond the first 5 will require a $3.00 fee.
Most schools DO NOT require a counselor’s letter of recommendation. IF a school does please let your counselor know.
SAT and ACT scores are not included on your transcript. You will need to have OFFICIAL scores sent directly from College Board or ACT.
There is no charge for transcripts sent through the Common Application.

Allow 2 weeks (not counting vacation days) for a letter of recommendation
Notifying all colleges of decision – May 1st deadline
