Behavior Expectations
The 8th grade Washington D.C. trip is an incredible opportunity for our students to explore our nation’s capital. We provide a memorable experience visiting various sites, museums, and monuments. This opportunity is available to all 8th grade students who are interested in the trip, but we do hold our students accountable to high behavior expectations. ALL 8th grade students start out with 10 behavior points to encourage the positive behavior we require to attend this trip. If a student loses and gets to zero points, they are no longer eligible to attend the Washington D.C. trip in the Spring. This is not at all a punishment, but meant to be an incentive, encouragement, and motivation for students to exceed in appropriate behaviors.
15
Behavior Expectations
Deductions will be made to student behavior points for the following Office or Bus Referral = 2 points Wednesday School or Bus Suspension = 5 points Out of School Suspension = 8 points for every day of suspension Effective October 18, 2016-May 1, 2017 Refund policy still applies if student is removed from trip roster due to behavior
