2 People often have daily medical requirements
Because of age, they often forget to consume the medicines in the designated time. Most of the families are nuclear leading to these people staying along in their homes because of which they might find it difficult to keep a track of their requirements or physically go out and buy medicines from the shops.

3 An automatic medical dispenser provided by some retail chemists.
It will have an in-built chip which will be connected to the web. The medical records can be uploaded so that the dispensing can be modified. Whenever a compartment is empty, a notification will go to the nearby shop which can provide free home delivery.

4 A simple IC controlled container which will have a WLAN connection.
The pharmacy can provided an unique container to each of the respective household. Whenever a notification arise, they can ensure free home delivery of the products.

5 THINKING HATS BLUE: The problem statement was proposed by focussing on the daily needs of people living in the cities. WHITE: Collected information about the typical medical requirements of people. Also looked into the fact that many retail pharmacy chains are coming into the market. GREEN: Came up with a new marketing idea for these pharmaceutical chains that can also solve the problems of the .

6 THINKING HATS YELLOW: Felt that this can be feasible solution in the urban areas given the stats of the White Hat. We have too many nuclear families whereby the are left alone when their child have to leave them for official chores. Also with the stiff competition among the pharmacy companies, it can lead a suitable business model for them to maximize profits. BLACK: The project might be a bit expensive and it might take a lot of time to break even because of the initial investment on the part of the company.

7 THINKING HATS RED: The red hat suggested that although the initial costs are high, the product should have a future in the market because of the emotional connect between the parents and child. Even if he is away, a child would like to provide the best possible medical care for his parents. GREEN: The green hat suggested another selling point stating that the dispenser can be provided for free (which would attract a lot of customers) and the amount compensated by charging an one-time registration fee for the programme. BLUE: The blue hat concluded that the plan can be implemented for a trial in a major metro cities.
