10. Market Potential
Smartcool is already well established in the commercial retrofit market, especially with food retail customers. The global market opportunity in this sector alone is $18 billion.
Home and small business energy management as an industry is forecast for 400% growth in the next four years. Smartcool is providing successful solutions for cooling systems in these environments.
Google’s acquisition of Nest Labs for $3.2 billion demonstrates one pertinent valuation of this emerging market.
Smartcool has a portfolio of hundreds of customers across other industries that continue to provide major revenue opportunities.

11. New Opportunities Software Licensing
2016 saw a new licensing agreement with Connected Holdings.
The new product (in beta testing) provides cellular connectivity with remote capabilities. Smartcool has the right to purchase and distribute.
Connected Holdings is marketing the new product under the SmartClime name
SmartClime to be marketed by Verizon in a SAAS model. Verizon has 2,000 business reps selling to commercial opportunities.

12. New Opportunities Refrigerated Transportation
Final testing is underway to deliver Smartcool’s software to the refrigerated transportation sector.
Initial testing has resulted in >20% savings in compressor run time.
Current testing is being conducted on Diesel flow rates to confirm fuel savings.
Refrigerated trailers burn ~ 4 litres of diesel per hour, a 20% savings would result in > $500/month.
Marketing options include a recurring shared saving model.

Trading on the Toronto Venture Exchange under stock symbol SSC.
Established in Vancouver, Canada in 2004 as the North American distributor of the ESM hardware.
Purchased the intellectual property (software algorithms) behind the ESM in 2006 and became the global distributor of the software and associated hardware.
Developed the ECO3 in 2010 to address the residential and commercial market.

Mr. Konyi has over 35 years experience as a financial entrepreneur. As founder of the Maxwell group of companies, he has been involved in the startup and growth phases of 15 corporations primarily in the energy and technology industries. The primary operating company in the group, Maxwell Mercantile Inc., has completed in excess of $240 million in private and public financings.
