Endo- is a prefix meaning “in” or “within” 3 types: Phagocytosis- particles Pinocytosis- liquids Receptor-mediated endocytosis- used for specific molecules

Exocytosis Opposite of endocytosis Expels things OUT of the cell
Exo- is a prefix meaning “out of” or “outer”
