On the SAME SHEET of notebook paper from yesterday, copy down the Caught You. Correct all of the mistakes. Define the underlined word. September 8, 2016 (10 mistakes + the vocab word=11 corrections) this story however is a less tragic version of shakespeares lugubrious tail and it is set in modern times with several new twists

3 Notebook Rules No ripping pages out Not to be used for other classes
Should come with you every day (can stay in class drawer) The cover art/décor should reflect you! (everything is fine as long as it is school appropriate (no references to illegal activity or hateful language)

4 Notebook Set up First two pages (front and back) are Table of Contents
Next page (front and back) is Books I Want to Read First two sections are Reading Last section is Writing Tabs are created by folding over a sticky note and securing with clear tape.

5 Numbering Pages Beginning with the first Books I want to Read page, number pages according to the following guidelines: The “A” pages are always on the left of the spiral… These pages are for class notes, charts and whole group work The “B” pages are always on the right of the spiral… These pages are for independent work and practice 1A 1B
