History 1993 Founders of the American University of Armenia (AUA), Armen Der-Kiureghian, Mihran Agbabian, Stepan Karamardian together with support group including Richard Youatt, Ruben Nahapetian, Alexander Glockner decided to help Armenia to create an Internet governing body. AUA sent a representative to INET’93. As a result of the meetings with ISOC high ranked officials at INET’93 a plan was developed. 2004 ISOC AM

wwTLD We think that wwTLD should be a lightweight organization consisted of regional organization leaders, namely AF, AP, LAC, EU, NA We think that any national registry should necessarily be a member of one of the regional organizations. Small registries can not participate in many organizations (it is not only the fees but manpower too). 2004 ISOC AM
