Current Status of IDT – DAC relationship
Numerous meetings took place between senior officials of both DAC and IDT in an attempt to resolve disputes. Some of the meetings involved the Acting DG of DAC and CEO of IDT. Unfortunately the outcome of such engagements did not yield any positive outcomes. The DAC eventually cancelled all MOAs with IDT in November 2016. The IDT is in the process of handing over the project, however the outstanding payments are delaying the finalisation of cession agreements and preparation of close-out documentation for all projects.
19
Conclusion A task team has been setup between IDT and DAC to deal with the following: litigation matters, outstanding payments to service providers incomplete projects reconciliation of all finances.
