Three Rings is a developer of online games based in San Francisco, California, with offices in Philadelphia and Madison. The company was founded in 2001 and launched its first game, Puzzle Pirates, in We were acquired by SEGA in November Read more about Three Rings. We are based in San Francisco, where we have a steam punk submarine for an office. We also have tentacles in Philadelphia, PA, and Madison, WI. They were acquired by SEGA in November 2011 and continue to operate as a development studio within the SEGA family.

Small custom tables such as this one are sprinkled throughout the space, each with a different image, to add to the overall Nautilus theme. A view of the florescent light covers clipped in place. Putting these in place was a transformative moment for the space.

They added lots of delightful details all around the space, such as the cephalopod charm on the back of the rolling flat screen game hutch. All these little details make for a wonderful environment that continues to surprise. A close up of the architecture and decorative coins that flank each arch.

The Chandelier was specifically designed for this pool table, and also to look really cool. This piece was made of apple-ply and stained with water based.

These custom light fixtures are scattered throughout the office for additional lighting, but are made of a 10 $Ikea light, upside-down in a cnc-cut 'claw'. Add color-changing LED light bulbs, and they've produced affordable yet mysterious glowing lights.

Faux levers, switches and ladders on the wall for that 'control room' flavor, and let you feel that you are in a reel submarine. The weapons wall in case of giant squid attack.

This is a workgroup area. Three Ring's artists designed their own desks just by drawing over the top of the supplied template. Each one is totally unique, yet still all the same price: affordable.

The individual desks all have the same basic construction. So, even though each one is different, we were able to produce them all quickly and affordably.

Arches define areas, and then adding in "screens" to separate work areas from 'hang out' areas.

The bar for the lounge is complete with overhead lighting, hidden wheels and bubbling water tubes on all corners.

The game room is filled with soft cushion tentacles! The largest one is 20ft long. The custom made bean-bags are great for movie nights, epic game sessions, and even napping.

They divided the space up into workgroups of four to five to better support the client's team structure. Screens like this one in the shape of a giant porthole are used throughout the office to help break up the space in a decorative way without walls.
