5 Mosquito Control & Integrated Vector Management
Education Surveillance Physical control Biological control Chemical control IPM or mosquito management program is a startegy that focuses on long-term prevention of mosquitoes and suppression of mosquito-borne disease. These strategies include, education, surveillance, physical control, biological control and chemical control. . Physical includes clearing clogged channels and removing debris that can restrict the flow of water, biological includes placing mosquitofish into large-scale potential mosquito production sources and neglected swimming pools, and chemical methods such as larviciding for juvenile mosquitoes and adulticiding or fogging for adult mosquitoes. The goal is to not to eradicate mosquitoes, but to keep the mosquito population below levels that can affect public health. Our goal is not to eliminate the mosquitoes but to suppress the population to a level that does not affect human health. Chemical control is –the use of pesticides- is implemented only when surveillance data indicates a need, at which point treatments are made with the goal of reducing the mosquito population while minimizing risk to humans, wildlife and the enviroment. All of our materials are approved by the EPA for specifically for mosquito control and are applied by State Certified Technicians.

Comprehensive response to any disease outbreaks from mosquitoes, rodents, and ticks. Provide mosquito-eating fish to property owners for backyard ponds and water features. Respond to service requests regarding ground nesting yellowjackets and rodent control issues. Control mosquitoes and other disease carrying vectors using environmentally compatible approaches that focus on eliminating the breeding sources and locations.
