5 PCDC 2016 Updates Sunday VIP invite: Governor Nikki Haley is unavailable to speak on Sunday, could still stop by on any day. Gen Eisner has accepted invitation to speak on Sunday Monday VIP invite to General Brock has been confirmed. PCDC logo swag (POC: Paul Wilbur/Ken Dilks) Purple koozies – (250), status? T-shirt (163 purple, 20 red) are in Lunch orders revised and sent to Trish at TTC Still looking for all consent forms from schools? 360 challenge coins in? Brochure proof status? 6 PCDC 2016 Status/Updates National Anthem and Honor Guard updates – Linda/Ken: For action List of 1 imbed from each College for Pro Day and one from TTC for each Pro Team. Alternates list from TTC? Still looking for school song choices, due by 31 March Sponsors listed on AFCEA website Heard from VT Group? (Rick White) SC Cyber has offered to sponsor. Wants us to link to their website (still under development) National Guard classes update – Dave Coldren/Larry Fuller, 4 different classes, 2 Sat, 2 Sun. One will be Cyber Legal & Policy Ashley Caldwell at Pearson: (sent confirmation request) Offering up to 20 test vouchers for Microsoft Tech Associate and/or MCSE Raffle Will send brochures.

8 PCDC 2016 Updates Current swag for goodie bags/backpack: T-shirt, challenge coin, TTC thumb drive, PCDC/Dilks-Simone koozie, SPAWAR Pen, SPAWAR water bottle– updates? 9 PCDC Setup CSRA: We will utilize extended access to restaging facility at CSRA on the final week before competition. CSRA employee will be available after hours (Mon-Thur) Friday, 8 April: Full access to facility starting at 8:30 AM, must be out by 8 PM Saturday and Sunday: must be out by 9 PM Monday: Must be broken down and completely out by 8 PM

10 Recruitment Students may send soft copy of resume to Ken Dilks at for distribution to sponsors Students can also send their resumes and transcripts to for potential SPAWAR employment. Focusing mostly on Collegiate Juniors for next year graduation. SPAWAR is looking to offer tentative on-the-spot job offers for select students at the competition. Paperwork has already been started. SPAWAR HR will be present. Students need to bring hard copy of resume and transcripts. Sign up and can you be notified of openings on USAJOBS: Will have SPAWAR recruitment brochures at event Colleges are permitted to be there on Saturday for recruiting high school students- afternoon is best time.

14 Cyber Forensic Challenge
Objective: Solve as many forensic scenarios as possible within the allotted time and accumulate the most points possible – 1st place: Samsung Galaxy? Participants will be provided access to a forensic scenario exercises ranging in difficulty. Each exercise will require the participant to utilize different forensic techniques to uncover a designated “flag”. Flags will be unique to each scenario which can range from date/time stamps, hashes, passwords, etc. Discovered flags will be submitted for grading and will be rewarded with the appropriate point value if the correct flag was provided Challenge examples: Hidden data: Find a specific “Key” word Hashing: Identify the correct hash of a file Metadata: Identify a particular embedded metadata element Data Recovery:Recover a specific filename Password Cracking: Crack a password representation to discover the plaintext password Malware Analysis PCAP Analysis Memory Analysis Any attendee at the PCDC event may compete Excludes SPAWAR Employees and High School PCDC team members Must be completed within the day of the competition Individual participation only: Cannot receive help from others Disqualification: Hacking the competition equipment, attacking other competitors or cheating (i.e. teaming, copying from other competitors, etc)
