Depart from Australia 14th May
lunch at a local restaurant in the heart of Athens. After lunch, return to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the or take one of our OPTIONAL tours to Cape Sounion and the ruins of the Temple of Poseidon with amazing views of the Saronic Gulf. Overnight in Athens.
Day 4 - May 18th - Athens to Olympia Early morning departure from your hotel to Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games passing from Patra, one of the main ports that connect Greece with Italy. Upon arrival to Olympia, visit the Sanctuary of the Olympian Zeus, , the Stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Overnight in Olympia at the Hotel Arty Grand.
Day 7- May 12st Monemvasia. After breakfast day at your own leisure. Take one of the optional tours today. Adopt an olive tree, Wine tasting session, horse riding, , Discover the art of soap making, or Boat ride to the Rock of Monemvasia. Overnight in Monemvasia at Hotel Kinsterna.
Day 8 - May 22nd – Monemvasia - Nafplion. After breakfast, drive to Nafplio through Tripoli and Argos. On arrival take a visit to Syntagma Square where you can admire important buildings and monuments. Two Turkish Mosques, the Archaeological Museum with important artefacts from the Mycenean Era and the Municipal Gallery are among the buildings that stand out and the churches Agios Spyridonas and Agios Georgios. Next stop – The Palamidi Castle, which proudly stands 216m above sea level. In order to reach the top you have top climb 999 steps carved into the rock. The view from the top is totally worth it! Overnight at Hotel Bretagne.
Day 1 - May 15th- Athens – Arrival. Upon arrival to Airport Eleftherios Venizelos, meet your escort at the airport and transfer to Athenian Callirhoe Hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 - May 16th - Athens 1/2 Day Sightseeing Tour inc. Acropolis Museum After breakfast, spend the morning enjoying a sightseeing tour of the ancient city of Athens. Pick up from hotel included. Visit Acropolis, walk up the hill to see the Parthenon the most recognisable building in the world and other sights. Enjoy the view over the city then continue on with coach tour to the site of first Modern Olympics, Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch and Syntagma Square, home to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Acropolis Museum of Athens. Return to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the city by yourself /selves or take one of our OPTIONAL tours – Athens by Night to dine and dance the night away.

Day 5 - May 19th - Olympia to Kalamata After breakfast, drive from Olympia to Kalamata, world famous for its olives and beaches. The history of Kalamata begins with Homer the poet, who mentions Pharai, an ancient city built where the Kalamata Castle stands today. Upon arrival in Kalamata, visit the 13th century Castle and Benakeion Archaeological Museum of Kalamata.
Overnight in Kalamata at the Hotel Filoxenia.
Day 9 - May 23rd - Nafplion – Athens After breakfast drive to Mycenea and visit the Palace of Agamemnon.
Continue to Epidauros and see the acoustically superb Ancient Theatre. On way back to Athens, short stop at the Corinth Canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. Return to Athens and overnight at the Hotel Callirhoe..
Day 10 - May 24th Athens – Mykonos: After breakfast, transfer to the port for ferry to the beautiful island of Mykonos.
Day 3 – May 17th - Walking Tour 1 /2 Day Hidden Gems of Athens After breakfast discover some of the best kept secrets known to the locals, such as graffiti art, tiny hidden churches, precious art galleries, local market and much more. You will be able to photograph neoclassical buildings, colourful streets as you stroll past the meeting point of local lovers as well as the sites of philosophical and political debates. You can shop where the locals shop. Enjoy a Greek coffee or cold Frappe or the new Greek classic Freddo Capuccino in the places where the locals gather. Today you will also take a lesson of Greek Gastronomy and you will cook your own
Day 6 - May 20th - Kalamata – Sparti – Monemvasia After breakfast drive to picturesque Mount Taygetus, a mountain range in Pelopnesse, also known as
‘Profitis lias’. The name is one of the oldest recorded in Europe, appearing in
the ‘Odyssey in classical mythology. Short stop for photos then continue towards the town of Monemvasia, well known for its town walls and many Byzantine churches which remain from the medieval period. Overnight at Hotel Kinsterna.

Day 11 - May 25th - Mykonos ½ Day Island Tour After breakfast depart by coach on a unique experience, visiting the countryside of Mykonos island. First stop is the idyllic beach of Agios Ioannis with the best view of Delos Island, a beautiful chapel and typical Cycladic architecture,. From there, travel to one of the most traditional places on the island – the village of Ano Mera. Here you have free time to visit the monastery, Panagia Touliani, built in the 16th century, or take time to stroll through the square. Next stop is Kalafatis Beach, then we head back to the town for a tour through the labyrinth of the Old Town. Take a walk to see the windmills and Little Venice and perhaps meet Petros the Pelican, the mascot of Mykonos. Return to the hotel and rest of day at your leisure. Overnight at Myconian Ambassador Hotel.

Afterwards, the guide will lead you through the narrow streets of the traditional villages of Megalohori and Pyrgos, Cycladic houses, neoclassical buildings and small houses dug in the volcanic rock blend together with harmony. Wine tasting, then we continue to Oia to admire the sunset and afterwards transfer back to hotel.
Entrance fees and lunch not included. Overnight in Santorini. Rest of day at your own leisure. You can continue exploring more of the beauty, go swimming, shopping, or visit local bars and tavernas Overnight in Santorini at Hotel Renos Villas.
Konstantinos and Eleni. Take a short walk towards Panagia Ekatontapyliani, one of the oldest churches in Greece built around 400 A.D. Head towards the port of Pounta where we will take the ferry to the picturesque little town of Antiparos.
Before returning to Paros, visit the 15th century Venetian fortress. Drive through the villages of Alyki and Drios before stopping at Pisso Livadi for a break. Visit Lefkes and Marathi where world famous marble was mined. Afterwards, a walk through the small streets of Naoussa and explore the beautiful fishing village.
Return to your hotel, rest of the day at your own leisure. Overnight in Paros at Hotel Paros Agnanti..
Day 18 – June 1st – Paros – Athens. After, transfer, morning at your own leisure. Transfer to port for the return ferry to Athens. . Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Athens at Athenian Callirhoe Hotel.
Day 15 – May 29th Santorini Sunset Cruise. After breakfast, day at your own leisure. Pick up from your hotel approximately 2pm for a sunset cruise on the Lagoon 560 from the port of Vlychada. Sail to the hot springs to have a mud bath and swim, then we go to the famous Red Beach where you have the chance to go snorkelling and swimming, stop at White Beach and enjoy a mouth-watering Greek meal with a deluxe barbeque of local delicacies, salad and fruit while you sip on some Santorinian wine and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Return to your hotel Renos Villas for overnight.
Day 16 May 30th – Santorini – Paros. After breakfast, transfer to the port for short ferry ride to Paros. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Enjoy its unrivalled natural beauty and beaches with crystal clear waters, Paros’s unique Byzantine footpaths connecting traditional villages and breathtaking landscapes. Rest of the day at your own leisure. Overnight in Paros at Hotel Paros Agnanti.
Day 12 - May 26th - Mykonos. After breakfast , free day to relax at the hotel or on one of the many beautiful beaches.
We recommend an OPTIONAL cruise and tour to nearby island of Delos, the mythological birthplace of Apollo, it was a major religious centre and port during the first millennium B.C.. The island’s ruins encompass Doric temples, markets, an amphitheatre, houses with mosaics and
the iconic Terrace of the Lion’s statues.
The Archaeological Museum displays statues excavated from the site. Tonight at your leisure to party and enjoy great live or DJ entertainment at any of the amazing nightclubs, bars and tavernas. Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 13 May 27th Mykonos – Santorini. After breakfast, free morning in Mykonos. Afternoon transfer to port for fast ferry to Santorini. On arrival transfer to Hotel Renos Villas for overnight. Exclusive use of this whole hotel for this group
