The Edenic Promise God said to the serpent, "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: it (He - refering to Christ) shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heal. Gen 3:15

Promise refred to the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Tim 1:9-10
Adam and Eve through disobedience suffered the consequences of sin, shame, a defiled conscience and mortality. Gen 3: Man had fallen from his very good estate ( Gen 1:31) and became mortal ( Gen 3:19). God in his mercy, through the Edenic promise (Gen 3:15) offered the hope of life out of death, Adam understood this to be so. He called his wife Eve,( "Chavah", as in Carver = life) Gen 3:20, for through her the saviour would come. Gal 4:4

The Serpent "Ye shall not surely die" The serpent spoke error which leads to sin and death. Therefore the serpent represents the thinking of the flesh, which leads to sin and death.

ENMITY/CONFLICT WITH The Woman (God hath said) The woman spoke the truth. Therefore the woman represents those (the ecclesia)whose minds are governed by the word of God. The Sepent and his seed Those governed by the fleshly lusts. John 8:44 The world 1 John 2: The mind of the flesh Gal 5: The sons of man Gen 6:5-8

INTERNAL ENMITY -Manifested within all the minds of those who seek to do God's will, Rom 7:14-25, The bruising of the head - The seed of the of the woman (Christ) would destroy that which the serpent thinking produced, i.e sin and death. Heb 2:14, 1 Cor 15:25-26, Rev 20:14. The briusing of the heel - The Lord Jesus Christ suffered the temporary effects of mortality Rom 6:9, Acts 2:24, Heb 2:14.

CHRIST - The seed of the woman
Possessed the same nature as we possess. Heb 2:14, 1John 4:2, Gal 4:4 Was subject to the same temptations. Heb 4:15. Sin nature was destroyed by a life of perfect obedience culminating in crucifixion. Heb 2:14, Heb 9:26. Death was rendered powerless at the resurrection of Christ for Him and those who are his 1 Cor 15: It's future abolishing assurred 1 Cor 15:26
